Yeah, I’m definitely sticking to windows 10

Smart. I bought this computer to use Flash CS6... so without that it's of little use to me.

I've had flash 8 and CS5.5 installed on my laptop that came with windows 11 outta the box.
Went without any problems or laggy situations for me.

Not saying I'm a fan of win11, just didn't wanna bother with reinstalling windows.

How weird that it works for some and not for others. I used the CS6 version which officially isn't compatible with Win11. Tried all sorts of remedies but had to reinstall Win10...

Once Microsoft pulls the plug off with Win10, I'm switching to Linux

Does Flash work on Linux? Also, what Linux are you thinking about?

@HolyKonni Back then Flash was supported on Linux officially by Adobe, but It got difficult with the time due to the massive drop on support but there's always a workaround. my target OS Is Linux Mint. but I suggest you to stick with Windows while you can.

Interesting. I'm not super computer savvy so I'll stick to Windows for now

@HolyKonni as Diego said, Flash is not oficially supported by adobe, but it can still somewhat be used on Linux. There is Wine Program for Linux, which esentially translates .exe files to one of these that Linux supports. I used to tried Flash CS6 on Manjaro and it was slower than on wind10, however not by much. I'm sure Macromedia Flash 8 would perform indetically on both operating systems.

Thanks for explaining it! I tried older versions of Flash, which did work, but they couldn't open CS6 files...

@HolyKonni I also just don’t like the look of windows 11

Fair enough ;)
